Well it depends on at what point do you want to cut off the violence? The Velvet Revolution happened WITH violence if you figure that it happened mostly because the countries around it were collapsing in on itself, and due to violence and agitation in other countries, the government of Czech decided to call it quits. It didn't happenin some non-violent vacuum. Incidents and actions had happened elsewhere that led to the Czech governments downfall. I don't think it would have happened "non-violently" without the other situations happening around it.

and was that (velvet) Revolution, really a revolution? or just one state separating into 2 states? isn't that the one that happened in the early 1990s?
