Anarchists torch parked cars in downtown Athens

It's comforting to think that the Greek anarchists who go out and actually do something do not care what types of knee-jerk reactions they get from anarchists in NA (with exceptions of course from some people who have responded here).

We talk all we want about mass organizing but some people do not want to wait to do something with their lives. They don't want to wait for "enough people to make revolution possible". I think what needs to be discussed beyond depthless talk of "a diversity of tactics" is what works, what should be tried, how it works, what anarchists are trying. Does it accomplish what it sets out for? And even if some anarchos go out in a Greek suburb to attack property of the rich, isn't that enough of a good reason? To take back one's life and not wait for pies in the sky?

I'm not saying anything is better than another, but in NA there are so many hang ups people have about riots, property destruction, etc. especially when it's spontaneous or autonomously organized. It's like some anarchos want to fit things into neat little boxes of what works and what doesn't work and what dogma is needed to argue in defense of your "way to the revolution."

If you want to argue and discuss, let's look at what effects certain actions and projects have: what's working, what goes beyond capitalist relations, what defies the rules of laws and unions and authorities. That is a conversation worth having.
