Buyers Remorse Over Obama

Not to change the subject, but I had a thought that encompasses this and other articles calling Obama a centrist.

Of course Obama isn't a revolutionary or even far left, but his opposition wants people to think he is. He's always been a centrist. But in a move pulled directly from the COINTELPRO modus operandi, the "liberal" media plays off this accusation of Obama militancy by claiming he's recently gone too soft and needs to come back to his liberal/progressive/militant roots. Only problem is, he never had these "roots" to begin with and this sort of beckoning him back is intended to make him more palatable to those that believed the stories of a radical Obama by painting him in an "unsavory" middle-of-the-road light in the liberal media. The average voter thinks liberals of The Nation ilk are radical, so it only helps Obama to seem like he's alienating those *craaazy new york liberals* in favor of the average voter.
This and other stories like it are very calculating, backhanded, double-talking pro-obama propaganda.
