Such a herb! They are just indie rock kids doin hip hop. And he tried to talk shit on El-P which was ridiculous.

The thing about only playing music by overt anarchists is doesnt that limit music a little? I mean, playing radical and interesting shit can help folks out. And music that has good political messages like say, Mr. Lif is still worthwile even if Lif doesn't neccessarily identify as an anarchist.

and word to some of Immortal's disturbing mysoginy and heterosexism. too bad because some of his other shit is so dope. plus i have to admit i love that the reason he was in jail for a year was beating the shit out of a rich ass frat boy when he was at penn state after the frat boy called him some racist shit like wetback or something. ha!

I'm planning to play a large range of indie music on the Infoshop podcast, not just music by anarchists. I want to feature Kansas City artists too, because I think that people on the coasts don't appreciate our culture out here.

And we'll hopefully include music that offends the tastes of some anarchists. I'm not interested in presenting a show full of politically correct music and content.

Yes, definately. But just try to keep things in perspective.
We still have a looooooooooooooooong way to go. Racism, sexism, homophobia etc. are very good tools of oppresion, and likewise have been around for a long time. If I come across someone with good class awareness but shit analysis on womans equality type issues, for example, then I take that as more of an incentive for me to interact with this person and try to talk some sense into them. Rather than just dismissing them right off the bat because they have never had the stimulus to examine oppresions in all the different "isms" that they manifest, I try to just keep my skin thick and think of the larger"strategy".

Is that making sense to anyone else?
