8,560,000 Bq/m2 in Fukushima, 3 times worse than Chernobyl
It’s been 26 years since Chernobyl happened, but nothing has been improved, the sarcophagus needs a national budget of money to renovate. How much of Chernobyl is Fukushima ?According to the report of Forestry Agency, Fukushima ground contamination is up to 3 times worse than Chernobyl.
The report is about the litter interception and soil in Bq/Kg and Bq/m2. It was published in March 2012.
In Namiemachi Futabagun, they measured 8,560,000 Bq/m2 of Cs-134/137. (litter interception and soil) The sample was taken on 10/25/2011. It’s about 9km from Fukushima plant.

In Belarus, the place where is more contaminated than 1,480,000Bq/Kg (cesium137) was defined as mandatory evacuation area.
To double the Belarus standard to make it close to the total of cesium 134 and 137, it becomes 2,960,000Bq/m2.
