13,200 Bq/Kg cesium from riverside in Ibaraki, 178km from Fukushima
On 7/22/2012, citizen’s group to save the environment of Kasumigaura lake announced they measured 13,200 Bq/Kg of cesium from the riverside of Ono river 110 miles (178km) from Fukushima.From late April to June, they conducted radiation measurement at 60 points of rivers to flow into Kasumigaura lake.
The second highest reading was 11,500 Bq/Kg from the riverside of Shinkawa, the third highest reading was 9,980 Bq/Kg from the riverside of Bizen river.
