3,300 Bq/Kg cesium found in black seabream caught offshore near Miyagi

Science3,300 Bq/Kg of cesium was measured from black seabream fished offshore Higashi matsushima city Miyagi.

Higashi Matsushima city is about 72 miles (113 km) from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. The measurement was done by Miyagi prefecture from 7/2 ~ 7/5, but the report says, the black seabream was banned for sale on 6/28, when is before the measurement. It is not explained how they knew the radiation level before the measurement.
