This is a quick update about those arrested on March 12 in Montréal.

The conspiracy charges have been dropped, but they remain charged with possession of weapons. Our comrades will be released with the following conditions. Unless people live together, they may not communicate with one another in any way, except in the presence of a lawyer to discuss their case. They may not carry tools in public. They may not possess weapons. They must keep the peace. Their next court date is April 29.

Although the arrestees have all given their names at this point, this is not a green light to spread information about who was arrested. The arrestees have not had a chance to explain what they'd like to do about the situation yet.

Thank you so much to the people who showed up to support their friends these last few days either at the SPVM's Centre opérationnel Sud on rue Guy, at the Palais de justice, or in the streets. Thank you so much to those who contributed time, money, and energy into this solidarity effort.
