IWW Philadelphia Picket In Solidairty with the FAU Against Government Repression in Germany

After not responding to the Philadelphia IWW (Industrial Workers of the World) (General Membership Branch) GMB’s Request for a delegation, the Branch has decided to have a picket at the German Consulate 1600 JOHN F. KENNEDY BL. This Friday January 29th 12:00pm. This is a protest on behalf of the FAU (free workers union) in Germany, an anarcho-syndicalist union under threat from both the employers of Babylon Cinema, the psudo-stalinist “Left Party” and the mainstream leftist http://Ver.di union in Berlin (part of the state-backed DGB umbrella union.) They have lobbied the Berlin City Government to strip the FAU of its rights as a labor union and have been threading its members with fines and imprisonment.
