Lord, deliver us from this terror, please replace all copies of "Fire to the Prisons" with the newest issue of Steampunk so that our minds may be occupied with much more important things. We pray this in your name Lord, Amen.

Just cause steampunk sucks doesn't mean that slogan isn't some steamy insurrectionist pretentious bullshit.

Arguably, but the point is that anyone involved in steampunk (Such as the person who originally started this line of comments) should be exposed for the sorry people they are.

Is this a coastal thing?

(The drama with steampunk - whatever that is)

I'm confused.  Does strangers actually have a history of promoting steampunk as an alternative to insurrectionism, or are you just projecting lame activist stereotypes on everyone who talks shit on FTTP?

What is it about insurrectionism that makes folks turn into such defensive pricks? I'm seriously tired of the entire IA community collectively hating every person who talks shit on their politics. Fucking get over it.

maybe the issue is the form of 'talking shit' seems to pass for critique amongst the critics of everything cool. That "lol, those words are big and those pants are tight" is one of the most embarrassing things about the anarchy. Why is 'talking shit' legitimate while responding in kind qualifies one as a 'defensive prick'?

Basil's right. People have the right to respond and defend themselves.

Ideally, of course, we'd all be up to more important things.
