Greece: Liberation of News & Direct Democracy

EuropeOn Saturday (6 December 2008) Epameinondas Korkoneas, a so-called special guard, shot in cold blood and killed 15 year-old Alexandros Grigoropoulos.

Today, ten days later, the fact of murder continues firing conflicts in all directions, mobilising the world.

VEXING US.

The world became the street and the street became the world. Persons of every age go down into the street and declare their presence in a society that they feel that was ignoring their existence. They are not only 15 year-old boys and girls that rebel. Each person, regardless their age, has felt that basic freedoms and rights are repressed, their dignity is lost.

HE/SHE REBELS.

However something is moving on. Squatted radios and television stations, “released” - squatted city halls and cultural centers, squatted university faculties and schools, direct-democratic assemblies and courses all around the country prove that something is happening.

Down with the status of murderers!

Solidarity to the arrested comrades around Europe for the actions of support to the Greek rebels!

Unconditional release of all arrested comrades!

Disarmament of the police!

Abolition of Greek Riot Police Units!

Abolition of all CCTV surevilance systems!

Immediate withdraw of the so-called counter-terrorist law and all repressive legislation!
