Calling all anarchists and anti-authoritarians in the Midwest!

You are hereby challenged!

Anarchists from Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Kent, Toledo, Oshkosh, and Rock Island are thrilled to announce their participation in competitions on two days of action!

Solidarity with Arrestees!: On Saturday the 13th of December, midwestern anarchists are challenged to see which city can show their love for RNC/DNC arrestees the most! A lot of amazing work has been done by folks in the twin cities, but now other cities need to step it up. Participants will be judged in the following categories: Most letters written, most funds raised, must fun had, and most severe damage to the Prison Industrial System dealt!

“Capitalism Breaks our Hearts” / “Love is a Battlefield”: On Saturday February 14th, midwestern anarchists will have a re-match. Valentine’s Day 2009, Revolting lovers will compete with each other and take action against capitalism and the police state. Style points will be awarded for the best squat opened, the most dramatic confrontation with the state, the most strategic intervention into the financial crisis, and the sexiest bloc in the streets.
