Update on Tyendinaga and Six Nations

Just got word from a number of people in Tyendinaga and in Six Nations...

Police have backed off of ty and six...barricades have been
removed at six and roadways are clear.

Ty is no longer surrounded and things are calm once again.

Nya:weh to everyone who supported yesturday, we contributed to the
pressure on government and police officials to back off of tyendinaga
and also six nations. Obviously our goal has been reached (for now)
and that is one small victory...however we must keep in mind that the
government continues to deny their responsibilities to our people and
continue to be in denial of our rights to the land and that this
situation is far from over. The relief is in that we managed to make
it to the otherside of this tense period with no one getting hurt,
(though thats not completely true either...).
