Police considered an older wikipedia photo as connected to the US Embassy attack in Athens few days ago.Within the wide-spread climate of terror-panic and oppresion against anyone who dares to defy their "democracy", the state and the media keep up on inventing all sorts of "evidence", "proof" and "witnesses", trying to penalize entire political groups that resist the authoritative immunity.
The very last invention was during today's TV news on several tv channels, when during the reports for the attack against the US Embassy, they mentioned a photo, which, as they said "was published in a greek website (meaning Athens Indymedia) and it is being examined along with other clues by the counter-terrorist force", alleging some connection with the terrorist group which had performed the attack.
What the media and the 'experts' hadn't notice, was that this photo, which was indeed published in IMC Athens, originally came from WikiPedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Misccaparms.jpg , and was shot at 12/1/2005 in Faluja, by the Iraq occupation forces.
Athens Indymedia has also been recently attacked by statements to the press of the Greek Minister of Social Order (Police).
